1. About This Page
This page explains how users of the Up Another Level (UAL) mobile app can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. UAL is developed by Up Another Level Construction Ltd.
2. How to Request Account Deletion
You have two ways to request deletion:
Option A: Email Request
Send an email to Info@Upanotherlevel.co.uk with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your UAL app account
- A brief statement confirming you want your account and data deleted
We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email once deletion is complete.
Option B: Ask Your Company Admin
If you are a worker using the UAL app through your employer, you can also ask your company admin to remove your account. When an admin removes your profile, your personal data is deleted in the same way as a direct request.
3. What Data Is Deleted
Upon a confirmed deletion request, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account credentials and profile (name, email, phone, job role)
- Your emergency contact details
- Location and attendance records linked to your profile
- Signed health and safety documents linked to your profile
- Profile photo, if uploaded
- Any other personal data stored against your account
4. What Data Is Retained
Certain records may be retained in an anonymised form or as legally required. This includes:
- Statutory attendance and safety records: Anonymised attendance timestamps and site safety records may be kept for up to 7 years to comply with UK construction regulations (CDM 2015) and tax obligations. These records are stripped of all personal identifiers and cannot be traced back to you.
- Financial and project records: Where your attendance or work is tied to a client project record that must be retained for legal, tax or warranty reasons, only the anonymised labour record is kept.
5. Retention Period
Personal data is deleted within 30 days of a verified request. Backup systems may retain encrypted copies for up to 90 days, after which all copies are permanently purged.
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to request erasure of your personal data. If you have questions about this process or want to exercise other rights (access, correction, restriction), contact us at Info@Upanotherlevel.co.uk.
